Life in Lanaland- Korea style

Saturday, July 22, 2006

And here we are, full-on into Korean culture- Bryce and I didn't make it to the Boryeong Mud Festival on the weekend due to a mix up in the train schedule. So we decided to make the most of it and went to the big city of Suncheon to see a flick and wander around. Well, we wandered into magic land where you are instantly transformed into cartoon-esque drama geeks.

See the following:

The fright of the attacking neon day-glo creatures coming to snatch us into their (colourful) underworld.

Flight or fight option....

Us trying to prove that we care not about thieir ploy to kidnap us, it bothers us not.

And our relief at discovering that they simply wanted to offer us teddy bears, roses and a nice cold drink before sending us on our way.

Really, these Korean photo-booths are really cool, and are the same price as our crappy mall-ones in Canada. Except here they have costumes available and a nice man who will laminate your photos for free and also will send them to you on email. FUN!

My challenge to you- To create better captions for them by clicking on the comment bar below. Mine were pitiful.

A big gushy hug out to you!
