TOURING AROUND

Just want to update some photos around where we are living. Some rice fields, mountains and adventures.

We've been spending time on the weekends going up through the mountain where we live on the scooter. There is endless things to do (and we are trying to save up some money after the Phillipines).

We have gone up to the fairground in the mountains twice now and ridden the Viking ride (we call the the Pirate Ship back home). No photos of that yet, but the ride up we took some.

You'll notice a strange growth on Bryce's leg.


Its his brace/splint/cast-thingy. He sprained his ankle two weeks ago playing basketball with my middle school students. So, we can't do much hiking. We've been biking around and, like I said, scooting.

You'll notice I look a bit different. You'll imagine my surprise when I woke up one morning to discover that I'm a redhead! Pretty amazing don't you think?? Such a natural beauty...tee hee...

We went on a good scooter ride last weekend, about 30 km out to a temple called Taeamsa. It was gorgeous, in the mountains and with a lovely river going through it.

On the way home we saw a whole bunch of goats...

And we crossed a bridge...

And went home for a rest.
