We're a Family!!

That's right! We're a family! We've got cats. Not animals of roomates, nor animals who sort of stumbled into our yard. Not family pets that are a memory, but real pets who we found and adopted. Its a big step really. We've made a few adjustments to our lifestyle/schedule. Bryce gets the litter box cleaned every morning and relaxes and lets the cats come to him. Me, always the dog-person, am always looking for them everywhere, and coaxing them to come and play with me. I am a little neurotic to overfeed them because they don't eat all their food when I do. They nibble. See, dogs just don't do that. Especially when there are two of them. So far, they are very good with me. They let me rub their bellies and heads and get excited with them and they haven't swatted or swished their tail even once. Which is what Bryce tells me what happens with grumpier cats. Let me introduce them:

This is the mother cat. We adopted her and one of her kittens. The other two are staying with the original rescuer. She was named "Ki-Ki" , which means Ear in Korean (which is actually "kwi"), because I guess her ears look different from each other. Strange, because it is much more noticeable that her eyes are different from each other. However, as you can see, this cat is a fluffy white one. I think she looks sissy enough and that Kiki might make her too prissy. Furthermore, if we go with the eye-thing in Korean, it will make her name "noon" or following with tradition, "noon-noon". Apart from this being a time of day in English, in Korean Noon is the name for both "eye" and for "snow", which may mean that we named her snow, or snowball and we all see the unoriginality there don't we? Therefore, I am accepting ideas for new names. I have come up with "Butch" and "Chuseok" (the korean holiday when we got her), and "seda" (which is strong in Korean, but I'd not sure I want a fighter for a cat) so far, but am open to other suggestions. We've got two cats to name, so without further ado, please meet "kitten" (for lack of a name):

Her eyes aren't as cool as her mothers, but she's adorable and she's got the same punk grey mohawk on her head. I think I love her.

I am slowly starting to accept the fact that I may also become a cat-person. I prefer the term "cat-woman".
